My name is Nancy and I live in the great midwest. I am the mother of four adult children and the grandmother of sixteen, three of whom are adopted. I had the privilege of going to Vietnam in March 2008 with my son-in-law to bring home our most recent grandson.
I am active in my church and in my community, where I hold an elected political office, but the thing most important in my life is family. By this I mean not only those we have given birth to and raised but also those who came before us and gave us life. I have done genealogical research for over 20 years as a hobby and have volunteered to help countless others. Knowing who came before helps us understand where we are going, whether raised by biological or adoptive parents.
My husband and I are now experiencing the rewards of years of joy and sacrifice in raising children, and that is watching our well-educated, successful, responsible children pass it forward to the next generation.
